Summary/Abstract: On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared a COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID- 19 pandemic has significantly affected the functioning of public administration bodies, business entities and society. In Poland, a ban on public gatherings was introduced, schools were closed, and stay-at-home order was introduced. Some rules, such as distancing, wearing masks and face shields, have effectively prevented the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.The purpose of this article is to discuss the results of the conducted research in the assessment of the employees themselves regarding the measures taken to improve the safety of local government employees in Łomza County during the COVID-19 pandemic.
