Summary/Abstract: The article aims to analyze the provisions of the Civil Code of the Moldovan Republic regarding the legal regime of the lien and its applications expressly regulated by law. Observing the norms regarding this legal institution, we identified some notable distinctions compared to the conception of the Romanian legislator.
