Summary/Abstract: The sources do not agree with the name of the wife of Tsar Uros: in the prayer book of Decani and in the part of Mavro Orbini, her name is Jelena. In other sources, her name is Ana. The problem is that the sources agree that the wife of the Bulgarian Tsar Ivan Stracimir was also called Ana. According to sources, both of them were married to the daughters of the Vlach duke Nikola Aleksandar. This work is a discussion contribution about the name and origin of the Serbian empress.
