Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the salt-related toponyms, also called „halotoponyms”, from the saltwater regions of Bukovina. Their multiplicity and origins in various languages highlight the wide spread of salt sources on the Romanian territory, sometimes giving clues to their exploitation.
