Summary/Abstract: In this study, the author presents a preliminary analysis regarding the dedication of some churches in the Şiria diocese in the light of the sealing sources (19th - 20th centuries). The seals of the churches from Pâncota, Arăneag, Chier and Moroda are presented, sigillographic sources that confirm the patron saints of the churches preferred by the communities from these localities.
