Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the results of surveys conducted among male and female students of primary and secondary schools in Poznań in the context of their opinions and views on psychological and pedagogical assistance as well as educational and vocational guidance. Analyzing the results of the study and referring to the theoretical solutions and found data, the authors of the article also try to indicate the important needs for systemic and organizational changes that may contribute to an increase in the effectiveness of the provided support, educational and preventive activities at schools.
