Summary/Abstract: This ar􏰀cle takes up the problem of studying language in film. It points to the significance of the issue and the causes of the film discourse having been ignored in analyses of Polish in the media to this date. It also indicates the primary parameters of the verbal aspect in a firm work, which can be subjected to a linguist overview. Addi􏰀onally, it discusses the main linguis􏰀cs methodologies that seem to be the most effec􏰀ve in examina􏰀ons of film dialogues.
