Summary/Abstract: Having Tennesse Williams’ Camino Real as a focal point, the present paper tries to underline the influence of both Expressionism and Magic Realism on the play. The presence of expressionist elements in Camino Real has been made clear by many critics. The present paper reiterates them, trying to add a new dimension to the analysis by focusing on the similarities of certain aspects of the play with Magic Realism.
