Summary/Abstract: The general tendency of the current language is for English borrowings to be assimilated and used in their original form. Placing some borrowings in one category or another is a fluctuating process. Thus, a series of fluctuations can be recorded regarding the status of some borrowed words that have become necessary over time because their frequent use and acceptance by Romanian speakers.
