Summary/Abstract: The essay includes several conclusions drawn from the content analysis of the Ellie Wiesel works, touching explicitly or implicitly the theme of the Holocaust. Here, we mean: 1. Ellie Wiesel’s conceptions on the Holocaust, seen not only as a planified destruction of the Jewish people, but also as an extirpation of Judaism (i.e., Jewish humanitarianism); 2. Revealing the Holocaust empirism, as an absolute negativity, in a tight connexion with showing the positivity of the Jewish humanitarianism that survived and was enriched by the confrontation with the anti-humanism that lead the force action of Evil during the 20th Century. As a consequence, the anti-totalitarianism and the actual democracy also drew their roots somehow from this confrontation.
