Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to present an analysis on the subject of complaints submitted to the investigating judgeon judicial control of actions, actions/inactions of the investigating authority in criminal cases. According to the Authors, theconsideration of complaints submitted to the investigating judge by the parties to the proceedings and other persons who claimthat their rights have been violated in criminal proceedings is an important form of control to detect and prevent violationsof the law and errors committed by criminal law enforcement bodies that conduct operational activities. The authors analyse thelegislation in force in the Republic of Moldova and propose new legal solutions
