ПРЕДМЕТ ЛЕГАТА У ПОЈЕДИНИМ ОБЛИЦИМА ПРИВРЕДНИХ ДРУШТАВА
THE CONCEPT OF LEGACY IN CERTAIN FORMS OF COMPANIES

Summary/Abstract: Legat is an institution of inheritance law that has been unjustifiably neglected in our legal theory and practice until now. The reason is mainly found in the earlier socialist socio-economic system that favored collective property over individual, private property, so that even legacies as one of the forms of individual disposal of property did not find its significant application. However, with the transition to a market economy system and the adoption of new legislation, the prerequisites were created for greater application of legacies. In this sense, the subject of legacies has also been expanded, because the Law on Business Companies of the Republika Srpska provides for partnership, limited partnership, limited liability company and joint-stock company as a form of organizing business companies. All these forms of organizing business companies have their own property, which their members can dispose of through legacies.
