Summary/Abstract: In the light of protecting persons with disabilities and realising the principle of equality and fair competition, a series of international documents were passed regulating the right of persons with disabilities. By way of ratifying those acts, the countries are conveyed the responsibility of regulating the rights and obligations of persons with disabilities through domestic legislation, with the purpose of eradicating conditions that have negative effects on their lives. This paper is the analysis of certain provisions of labour and social welfare legislation of the Republic of Srpska, of problems in the application of the same, and their comparison with the provisions of relevant statutes in the Republic of Srpska.
