Summary/Abstract: In this paper, the author presents a new legal solution in the Republika Srpska, which foresees that for the existence of a prolonged criminal offense, in addition to the identity of criminal offenses and temporal continuity, it is necessary that all criminal offenses from the composition of the extended criminal offense must form "a single entity". The content of this unified criminal entity consists of five variable (changeable) circumstances: the identity of the injured party, a single or extended intent, a unique place or extensive connection, the same nature of the object and the occurrence of the same situation or permanent relationship. For the existence of a prolonged criminal offense, it is necessary to fulfill at least two variable circumstances. The existence of these circumstances is not always the same, and their importance is assessed based on how much their so-called "connecting action", in the sense of connecting several actions of committing criminal acts, into one and unique criminal act.
