Summary/Abstract: The article concerns eschatological events that is signs of the end. The Parousia of Jesus Christ, contrary to the teaching of the deceivers, will have a universal dimension, visible to all. It will be preceded by signs summarized as “great tribulation.” The time before the Lord’s arrival will therefore be marked by a distinct suffering, which, nonetheless, foretells the final triumph. The unknown time of Parousia calls upon the faithful to be vigilant. This truth is illustrated by the reality of the fig tree, which unerringly points to the beginning of summer. A similar remark applies to reading of signs. The excess of evil which they express, clearly predicts the sign; the appearance of the Son of Man. The final selection is a warning against belonging to the carefree and superficial generation of Noah. The Parousia and the judgment associated with it is as certain as the flood in Noah’s day.
