Summary/Abstract: The content of the dissertation is the analysis of the name “I Am that I Am” in the context of hermeneutical implications of the concept of existence. The author does not limit himself to the theological issue, but he derives from it metaphysical (ontological) consequences that boil down to a logical reflection on the category of existence. He builds on that ground an original theoretical position which he calls ethosophy.
