Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to honor Kosta Solev Racin as the founder of Macedonian contemporary poetry and as an intellectual who anticipated the future ideas of humanities. The paper is divided into two parts: the first talks about the less emphasized parts of his personality and poetic creation as significance for the Macedonian identity. The second takes into account Racin’s texts dedicated to the Bogomils as texts which foreshadow the ideas of Marxist determinism, cosmopolitanism and postcolonial criticism long before their emergence.
