Summary/Abstract: The article proposes an approach to the concept of strategic resilience, a concept that can contribute to maintaining the essential functioning of states and organizations in the face of various threats. At the national level, the development of strategic resilience involves the commitment of political decision-makers and collaboration between the various institutions of the state, and the appropriate allocation of resources and the creation of appropriate structures to deal with crises and to ensure the continued operation of essential services is necessary. At the international level, strengthening strategic resilience requires collaboration and cooperation between states and international organizations. Sharing experiences, best practices and mutual assistance can help increase global crisis response capacity. At the level of the European Union, the strategic compass is a way in which the EU can strengthen its autonomy and ability to face security challenges. Through a commitment to its values and international cooperation, the EU can contribute to a safer and more prosperous future for its citizens and the entire global community.
