Thirtieth Year of Functioning and Activity of the Theological Seminary of the Diocese of Ełk (2021/2022)

Summary/Abstract: The article shows the functioning and activities of the Theological Seminary in Ełk in the academic year 2021/2022, which was the thirtieth in its history. The tasks and objectives of the seminary focused mainly on the basic dimensions of formation (human, spiritual, intellectual, pastoral). Sometimes you may have concerns about whether the correct proportions between the dimensions of the formation have been maintained. The seminary undertook activities for refugees from Ukraine, and also celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of erection. Compared to previous years, the seminary gained more experience. In response to the decreasing number of seminarians and the personal condition of candidates for the priesthood, the model of formation became more individualistic.
