(A) TEMPORALITY OF NADEŽDA PETROVIĆ’S PHOTOGRAPHS OR UNIVERSAL ELEMENTS OF A VISUAL NARRATIVE ABOUT WAR

Summary/Abstract: Approaching the photographs of Nadežda Petrović through the framework of her artistic activity, we notice that they are involved in a special and significant way in the socio-historical and cultural mission of this creator. In this paper, we explore the photographic segment of Nadežda Petrović’s creativity from the aspect of its artistic value and through the prism of narrative as a (a)typical phenomenon of photography. Special attention is paid to the visual (photographic) narrative about the war by Nadežda Petrović and its (a)temporality as a narratological and socio-historical category.
