Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the philosophical analysis of the thousand-year development of military science, its strategy and tactics, the development of military management and its principles, functions, from ancient times to modern times. The author emphasizes that in the development of military management, the main principles of military management are reformatted – some become the most important, others lose their importance and take a back seat.
