The Object and its Structural Organization Role in the Comedy "Malakova"

Summary/Abstract: The author researches a new for the Revival pattern of comedy structural organization caused by the enhanced role of objects in the dramatic unity. This pattern structures the comedy text not so much by the outlining of the characters by their actions but mostly by the usage of an object as engine of the acts and identity processes. The heroes' characters are structured as a consequence of their relations to an known or unknown object. The object turns into a semantic kernel of important comedy oppositions as "own-foreign", "traditional- modern", "peasant-town". The analysis of the comedy "Malakova" leads to the conclusion about the importance of this work in the evolution of the Bulgarian comedy studies.
