Summary/Abstract: In the article, attention is drawn to the extent to which the same, refugee images of the previous president of the Federal Republic of Germany, Joachim Gauck, the current President of the Slovak Republic, Andrej Kiska, concretizations Miloš Zeman of the Czech Republic are linguistically shaped. The statements of individual presidents are analyzed in this paper against the background of the functional-pragmatic analysis, i.e. they are analyzed as concretizations of individual speech acts through their communicative function(s) or through the speaker's intention(s).
