Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the evolution of kinetic art throughout the 20th century and aims to review the most important milestones as well as the fundamental mutations that have occurred in this form of artistic expression. The common denominator of the artists presented is the concern for detail and movement, to shed light on the possibilities of kinetic art to t into the new urban spaces.
