Summary/Abstract: The presented study focuses on the reflection of the personality of President Emil Hácha in the extensive fonds of the Vatican archives, especially of the Historical Archive of the State Secretariat of the Holy See and the Vatican Apostolic Archive. Despite the relatively low number of reports, Emil Hácha represented an important statesman in the eyes of Vatican officials, whose personal qualities (Catholic faith, conservative mindset) it valued extremely much during the troubled times.
