Summary/Abstract: The generation of this millennium is living a time of change, in which the foreign student also seeks interrogative new meanings of its existence. Becoming a foreign citizen in various ways – cognitive, social, cultural, civilizing, globalizing takes shape within education university as values of prime importance. In the educational practice of acquiring Romanian language by foreign students, it is attested and communicative capitalization of language by training specific verbal cues communication in Romanian. The assessment of the communication skills of the foreign students designates the role of the Romanian language in the process of the socialization of foreign students, marks the relational context of communication as a collaboration contract based on the functional ensemble of verbal interaction.
