Summary/Abstract: As part of our doctoral research, we're analyzing the linguistic representations of young Romanian learners on the French language and its learning. In this article, we propose to highlight the first stage of the sociolinguistic survey, the pre-survey. We have designed a questionnaire, taking into account relevant parameters, such as social background, school environment, personal history, attitudes and beliefs about France and the French language. Then, we conducted the questionnaire with two groups of learners.
