Summary/Abstract: The subject of this article is the problem of religion, and more precisely, the relationship between religion and philosophical realism, postulated on the basis of Mortimer Adler's concept. There will also be a reference to the concept of religion developed on the basis of the Lublin Philosophical School. I will pose the following questions: 1) In what context does the problem of religion appear in Adler's deliberations? 2) What is the essence of religion? 3) Is religion related to man and how? 4) What role does it play in human life?
