Summary/Abstract: A study of the conditions and prerequisites for the creation and development of literature in Bulgaria during the period 1806 to 1886 through the eyes of teacher Nikola Nachov. The work “Bibliographic review of our mathematical literature from the very beginning to the end of 1886” is officially recognized as the first independent special bibliography on mathematical literature in our country. Contributions and perspectives are indicated.
