Summary/Abstract: The article presents the moral views of two Polish Catholic monks, the most eminent thinkers: Fr Piotr Skarga and Fr Jacek Woroniecki, who had a significant impact on various areas of Polish culture. They lived in different epochs in the history of Poland, however, the presented views of both are very convergent and their moral ideas stem from the teachings of the Catholic Church and are based on the faith, the writings of the Fathers of the Church and a deep knowledge of the Holy Scriptures. The literary, scientific and spiritual heritage left after them, despite the passage of time, can and should invariably influence the education and formation of the young generations. The works of Father Piotr Skarga and Father Jacek Woroniecki are an unheard of cultural heritage and a lasting scientific legacy, and for many they are and will remain authorities.
