Summary/Abstract: The issue, which is presented in the form of an article, is basically one of the most important research topics (Feudal House of Charmaulis in XIII-XVIII centuries). We would also like to point out that in 2021, the feudal house of the Charmaulis of the XIII-XVIII centuries was identified as one of the winning topics in the grant competition for doctoral students announced by the Shota Rustaveli Scientific Foundation, which is a very important support for the promotion of scientific research. The article briefly discusses the appearing and promotion of Charmaulis family in the political arena of feudal Georgia. The Charmaulis became stronger when the Eristavas of Aragvi were The Shaburidzes and in the future they even became the rulers of the above-mentioned Saeristavo, who are then replaced by the Sidamonidzes. After the loss of nobility, the representatives of this family appear again and own estates in the Aragvi valley (as well as in Shida Kartli) according to the deeds of mercy of the kings. According to historical documents, the first representative of the Charmauli feudal family is Grigol Charmauli, to whom David VIII gave a deed of mercy in 1298. According to the document, the king gave him the first village "Laushai" located in the Shuani Gorge (now Khorkhi Gorge) with its forests, meadows, hunting grounds, fields, vineyards, water, mills and swamp. In addition to the king, the document is approved by the Catholicos of Kartli Abraham (Abraam) and there are also witnesses; For example, such as Eristavi Amada Surameli of Kartli, the Meabjretukhutses (armor elder) Chilai Abazasdze and the Amirakhori (Head of the stable) Navroz Abazasdze. The document was issued at the time when David VIII rebelled against the Mongols and fortified himself in the Aragvi valley. It was at this time that he needed support and favor from the local feudal lords. It is clear from the deed that Grigoli is loyal to the king and that's why he inherits the village of Lausha.
