Summary/Abstract: The paper presents a study of modern aspects of Tushetian needlework, namely dyeing, weaving and ornamentation. The aim of the research is to introduce information for the scientific flow about the quality of material, weaving technique, color and the degree of similarity to traditional ornaments of Tush woven products (clothing accessories, decorative items, etc.) made in the ethnographic life of the 21st century. The research objects, which, in addition to material objects, include photos, audio (interviews with cultural heritage carriers) and video material, was collected during business trips and expeditions to Kartli, Kakheti, Tusheti and other regions of Georgia by a group of scientists in 2022. From the point of view of the research of modern Tush woven products, the authentic material preserved in the National Museum of Georgia, regional, private museums and preserved in modern life (families) is used as a parallel material. At this stage of the research, some inaccuracies and irregularities were revealed both in terms of colors and ornaments. At the same time, the use of weaving techniques by traditional methods was observed. The work will help the public interested in traditional Georgian textile industry, as well as scientists working in the field of clothing, practicing teachers and clothing designers.
