Summary/Abstract: The study explores some of the non-Aristotelian dramaturgical methods from a practical dramaturgical point of view. After a short introduction to the dramaturgical aspects of Aristotle’s Poetics, I present some of his more important critics, such as Brecht and the new dramaturgy movement. Landscape dramaturgy and Ulla Ryum’s spiral theory get the main focus because of their relationship and parallels with my own, more experimental dramaturgical practices.
