Summary/Abstract: In the article a comparative study of the characteristics of the Romantic text and existential thinking is carried out in order to identify the continuity of ideas in the formation of aesthetics. In particular, the analysis of the texts by Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer reveals thematic and semantic similarities with the existential philosophy of Miguel de Unamuno.
