Summary/Abstract: The vocational education connects students with labour markets. People who have vocational education have some advantages with their vocational realization – higher economic activity, higher employment and lower unemployment. Although the existing weaknesses – old facilities, lack of high-qualified teachers, insufficient flexibility, lack of a narrow connection between school and business, insufficient practical education, young people in our country still prefer the vocational education. Labour markets in our country, especially in Shumen region, remains dynamic. In the next 3 – 5 years, there is going to be demand for common specialists with second and third professional qualification degree. The realized admission plan in Shumen region in the vocational classes during the last few years is conformed to a great extend with labour markets.
