Summary/Abstract: The extermination of Jews in the context of how the 20th-century totalitarianisms and genocides are remembered has been considered many times, as have the ways of how this happens to be “described” in culture, literature and art. With regard to the issues raised in the text, references were made to the concept of cultural memory, post-memory, and a discussion of the ways of commemorating the Holocaust. The article is devoted to new forms of remembrance of the Shoah. The subject of the research is a project on the Instagram Eva Stories social network, the basis of which was the diary of a Hungarian Jewish girl, Éva Heyman. In order to find out about the opinions on the Eva Stories project, a survey of its recipients was conducted. Using Instagram as a “storage medium” turned out to be the right choice in the opinion of the website users.
