Summary/Abstract: Marriage is the coming together of people in accordance with the legal system of the country they are connected to in order to establish a life partnership Dec. Divorce and death end the marital union. The cases of termination of marriage due to death and divorce have different legal consequences. In the event that one of the spouses dies while the divorce proceedings are ongoing, the status of the spouses becoming each other's heirs is also regulated differently in the legal systems of the countries. In our article, we aimed to Decipher the differences in practice between countries by examining them.
