Summary/Abstract: The educational reform in Bulgaria since 2015 has focused on the formation of key competencies in students since primary school. For this purpose, the creative exercises on text tasks included in mathematics textbooks play a big role. In this article will be presented an author's analysis of the creative exercise on text problems in the current textbooks in mathematics for I, II and III grade of the publishing house KLET Bulgaria Ltd., brand Anubis. These creative exercises will be described in detail by type. Examples of each type of creative exercise from the textbooks will be given. Conclusions about this mathematics curriculum will be formulat.
