Summary/Abstract: The task of every archive in all countries of the world, without leaving aside our country, is to offer for use archival records that are part of the written cultural heritage. To achieve this, one of the basic tasks of working in archives is to compile information-scientific tools. The compilation of these tools derives from the basic goals and tasks of archives, from the protection of the archival records to their use. Therefore, during the work process in the processing of archival material, it is more than neçessary to compile informative-scientific tools. It should be noted that they are created based on certain principles and criteria, so it should always be borne in mind that they are designed for the purpose of informing the community. Thus, they are part of the archive-community communication. The paper will address some of the informative-scientific tools, as each of them has its own specifics, meaning and role.
