Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the issue of organizational power of local government units as one of the manifestations of their independence in the selection of the organizational form of performing their tasks. The article conducts an analysis of organizational and legal forms used by communes, poviats and voivodships in the scope of the municipal management conducted by them.
