Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the issues of mediation in labor law proceedings. Based on the analysis of legal sources, literature and statistical data, the effectiveness of mediation proceedings in labor law was assessed. Moreover, the benefits of mediation were indicated and an attempt was made to identify the reasons for the current level of use of this method of resolving disputes between employers and employees. In mediation, parties play an important role in resolving their own disputes. This often results in creative solutions, longer-lasting outcomes, greater satisfaction, and improved relationships.
