Summary/Abstract: From a functional perspective, economic terminology represents an heterogenous subsystem of the language, which made extremely interesting its study from the perspective of the presentation of the linguistic phenomena, more actively manifested in the actual phase of the language. The research of Romanian texts in the present-day mass media showed a remarkable frequency of economic terminology. Mass media is an objective source for determining the terms of current interest in competence with those already assimilated, their vast majority being of Romanic origin. Of great interest are the methods of use of these terms in Romanian language, from those that are not under the pressure of any formal adaptation, and especially, which are the methods used to make more accessible the specialized meaning.
