Summary/Abstract: Many of the words used today in the tourism field come from English. Despite the existence of similar concepts in Spanish and Romanian, today people tend to use English words for all levels of specialization. This preference can be translated as an image of globalization, a characteristic of tourism on all levels and sectors, which does not complicate the decodifying process of the message considering the existence of equivalent explanations, phrases or terms, all of it easing the access to a specialized level in tourism.
