Summary/Abstract: During the period 2020-2021, the general educational context, besides other fields of activity, had a specific character, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It forced us all, teachers and students, to make supplementary efforts in order to reach the main teaching and learning objectives. Thus, we consider that the teachers should accept the challenge represented by this particular situation and make use of methods that help diversification of the class, making the subject more accessible and also helps maintaining the students’ focus on the subject. One of these methods is the “flipped classroom”, whose positive results have been proven by previous studies. Thus, the present paper focuses on presenting the concept in detail, being considered of a real help, especially in the unprecedented context in which we are, encouraging its application during the Romanian language classes.
