Summary/Abstract: The intention of the article is to discuss the evolution of Japanese comics in Poland since 1996, when it appears in the publishing offer, until 2015. It presents the beginning of the creation of the manga and briefly characterizes all its transformations. The article focuses on the characteristics of this comic, emphasizing its differences from similar texts. The basic consideration is the publishing offer available in Poland, which consists of the number of publishing houses specializing in publishing Japanese comic books and the number of titles published by them. The whole text shows the analysis of statistical data, indicating the interest in manga among Polish customers.
