Summary/Abstract: Travel notes on an exciting trip to Alexandria, Egypt, that has as a main goal visiting the new Bibliotheca Alexandrina, opened exactly one year earlier. With eyes curious to see the lives of the ordinary Egyptians, we recount our meetings with them and the eagerness to fulfjll the dream of feeling the book atmosphere far from Bulgaria. Moreover we tell about the charm of ancient Alexandria and the joy of being among the fjrsu Bulgarians, who saw this miracle of architecture and thought.
