Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to contribute to the discussion concerning the belief system of the Van- dals. They are generally identified as Arians; I, however, argue that they questioned the similarity of the Natures of God the Son and God the Father and that they lacked the stage of tribal church organisation.
