Summary/Abstract: The objective of the article is to analyze various situations entailed by the null respect of the human rights of the migrant guest workers who built the stadiums and other mobility infrastructure in the World Cup in Qatar 2022. It was a controversial World Cup, due to the contradictions that it entailed. as a mega sporting event of transnational scope. Based on various international media publications, the article details aspects related to the working and living conditions of these migrants from India, Pakistan, Nepal and other countries, as well as the context regarding the deaths that occurred, and the role of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), the local government, and other stakeholders.
