Summary/Abstract: The article presents choosen aphorisms of Stanislav Jerzy Lec, and some of them have been commented by the author in philosophical way. The aphorisms have been grouped into seven thematic sections: Around philosophy, Recentivist orientation, About God, Religion, Human affairs, Power and totalitarianism and About yourself. The article aims, on the one hand, to popularize Lec aphorisms in the scientific community and, on the other, to stimulate philosophical reflection on them.
