Summary/Abstract: The supply contract is part of the commercial legal relationship and is governed by Article 1766 of the Civil Code. By its very nature, the supply has a dual purpose: the delivery of a quantity of goods, or the provision of services by a professional to the recipient. The relationship of supply of digital content and digital services has been regulated by GEO 141/2021. In relation to common law, novel concepts such as digital goods, functionality, interoperability, digital integration etc. are analysed. The paper is structured in four sections: 'The supply contract: source of digital content and digital services'; 'Subject matter and scope of the supply of digital content and digital services', 'The trader's compliance obligation. Remedies" and "Contract amendment and termination. Burden of proof".
